    We started this initiative to help provide teens and young adults with disabilities a place to learn life skills that will help them find employment and gain independence. According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2023, only 22.5% of the disabled community were employed.*

    Owen fell in love with farm life the moment he got his hands dirty. He dreamed of working on a farm, so we planted that seed—and here we are! Thanks to Owen, this whole thing took root.

    Jackie has always wanted Owen to find a place where he truly belongs—and now she’s helping build it from the ground up. With love, grit, and a whole lot of heart, she’s turning her son’s dream into a field full of possibilities.

    ☀️🥕As an ABA therapist, Meghan’s spent years championing kids like Owen—now she’s dreaming even bigger. She’s on a mission to turn rows of veggies into rows of victories, creating a farm where neurodiversity thrives and everyone finds their place in the sun.

    Grant’s the ultimate brother to Owen and the guy behind all things tech at Roots. Whether he's fine-tuning the website or jumping in to help on the farm, he keeps things running smooth and strong.
